LobbyStack changelog: AI receptionist product updates

Follow new AI receptionist features, dashboard improvements, integrations, and shipped changes from the LobbyStack team.

Product

Change your AI receptionist phone number

You can now replace the phone number your AI receptionist uses from the LobbyStack settings page.

Open Settings → Phone Number and select Request change. LobbyStack shows available numbers by country and area code, then switches the business to the number you select.

Each business gets one phone number change. After your new number is activated, the previous number stays active for 30 days. You can contact us if you need more than one number change.

Test call your AI receptionist and invite your team

LobbyStack now includes dashboard test calls for your AI receptionist and team member invites for your business workspace.

We added two features for teams getting LobbyStack ready for real callers: test calls for your AI receptionist and member invites for your business workspace.

You can now test call your AI receptionist directly in LobbyStack. Start a live call from the dashboard, hear the greeting, check the business details it uses, and tune the instructions before customers reach the number.

You can also invite team members to your business workspace. Bring in the people who help with calls, booking, setup, or billing, then keep the work in one LobbyStack business.

Answering rules are easier to tune

We made receptionist behavior easier to review, adjust, and keep aligned with how your team handles real calls.

You can now keep a clearer set of instructions for how LobbyStack answers, qualifies, and routes calls. The updated rule editor focuses on practical call-handling behavior, so business owners can review the receptionist’s priorities without digging through setup details.

The goal is simple: make the assistant easier to change when your business changes. Update the way it greets callers, handles urgent requests, explains services, or decides when a person should step in.

We also tightened the surrounding setup flow so the receptionist can use those rules consistently across live calls, summaries, and follow-up work.

Improvement

Cleaner call summaries and follow-up notes

Call outcomes are now easier to scan after a busy day, with clearer summaries and next-step notes.

LobbyStack now writes call summaries with a stronger focus on what happened, what the caller wanted, and what should happen next. That makes it easier to review missed opportunities, urgent requests, new leads, and appointments without replaying every recording.

Follow-up notes are also more consistent. When a call needs human attention, the dashboard highlights the useful context first: caller details, intent, urgency, and the action your team should consider.

This update is part of a broader push to make the operator dashboard feel calmer during high-call-volume days.
